For years Nigel has guided guests through York's darkest corners, weaving documented history with the city's most chilling folklore. Every tour is personal — every group treated as the only one in the lane.
Although Nigel makes every effort to attend every tour, occasional cancellations can occur due to weather, sickness, or personal circumstances. In those rare cases, tickets are refunded or rescheduled — no questions asked.

We usually meet at the Roman Baths Pub in St Sampson's Square. Hotel pick-up can be arranged within the city centre.
What time does the tour start?+
Tours are private booking only, so start times can be adjusted to suit your group (within reason — Nigel isn't available 24/7).

£48.00 per group of up to 20 people. For larger groups, please contact Nigel directly.
Is the tour suitable for children?+
The tour is not recommended for children under 8 years of age. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
What happens if the weather is bad?+
The tour operates in all weather — please dress appropriately. In extreme conditions, tickets are refunded or exchanged.
How fit do I need to be?+
Travellers should have a moderate physical fitness level — expect cobbled streets and narrow alleys over 90 minutes.
